Purdue University's Online Writing Lab is an excellent resource for proper use of MLA Editorial Style. Use this handy guide for easy-to-understand instructions regarding format of citations, page formats, etc.

As citizens of the state of Tennessee, the Tennessee Electronic Library is one of our most valuable resources. From the link above, you are able to access thousands of full-text, full image articles from magazines and scholarly journals, as well as full-text newspaper articles, sound recordings, video clips, and more.
Additionally, via the Points of View Reference Center, students can choose from a variety of topics to retrieve opposing viewpoints on contemporary issues facing our society. By visiting the Learning Express Library, students have access to over 300 online interactive practice exams and course series as well as over 150 e-books. Included are academic tests like the ACT, SAT, and GED as well as Civil Service, Firefighters and Law Enforcement exams. The Newsbank newspaper service allows the user to access The Chattanooga Times Free Press, The Knoxville News Sentinel, and Commercial Appeal.HeritageQuest Online is a resource for genealogical and family history research. HQO includes digitized copies of federal census records, full-text family and local history books, Freedman's Bank records and more! Mrs. Batchelor is certified by the Tennessee State Library and Archives (TSLA) as a TEL trainer and will be happy to assist you in learning to utilize this wonderful resource. VocabSushi is a great way to boost vocabulary skills for the ACT exam, but it's fun for everyone. Sign up is free and easy!
